Our Keratin treatment creates a dramatic change to curly hair. It is a frizz control system which can last from six weeks to up to six months depending on your choice of treatment. Why is it called a treatment? Because not only will it control the frizz with the most stubborn curl, it also treats damaged hair to give it an unbelievable look and feel. The reason is because your hair fiber is made of 65-95% of keratin proteins by weight. So by introducing keratin into the hair via our system and process, your hair will look fantastic, healthy and elegant.

Is this the same as the Brazilian Blowout? Yes and no. The "Brazilian Blowout" is a brand name like "Xerox" is to copies. We carry two lines of Keratin treatments, the Brazilian Blowout and GK Hair. The Blond Bombshell Transformation Package:

Do blonds really have more fun? Well you can find out for yourself by taking advantage of our unique Blond Bombshell Transformation Package. This transformation is not just a bleaching; You probably have had that done before and ended up with green or orange hair.  No! Our process is different and it is a method that was perfected by Master Colorist, Isabel Gage right here at Bella Hair Designs. It is designed to take you from dark hair to "sophisticated blond" without the severe damages associated with the typical bleaching and over-processing. However, be forewarned that this process does take two appointments and must be spaced at least four weeks apart. This package includes treatments, coloring, and other trade secret processes.

Phase One:

The Initial transformation will include a removal of color and special treatments to make sure your hair stays healthy. Semi-permanent color may be added to even out your hair so that you look great as you await your phase two appointment.

Phase Two:

The final phase includes a trade secret process to complete the "sophisticated blonde" transformation.

What to expect:

1. The health of your hair is very important to us in order to keep the "sophistication" with the blonde color. So expect to have approximately four weeks of a transition color. This is critical to keep your hair from being over processed.

2. Expect to come in for a root touch-up every three weeks. Beyond that,  dark roots can take away from your overall look.

Therefore, any excessive grumpiness will be introduced to our grumpy client special. This special is not as exclusive because this is when we graciously provide you directions to the nearest low-end hair salon where you can be grumpy to your heart's content.

2. An opportunity to explain the process and find out more about you.

The way we custom design cuts, styles, and colors are by knowing more about you, your lifestyle, and your job. How you like to wear your hair day-to-day gives us ideas on what is best for you.

3. Honest answers about what you have done to your hair.

If you are getting coloring or any type of chemical services, we need to know exactly what you have done in the past. Box colors react different than professional color. If you tell us you had your hair professionally colored in the past but you really did an at-home box color, then results will be different causing us extra time to try to figure out what is in your hair. This may affect your pricing, so just tell us upfront.

4. Medications and Antibiotics?

Let us know if you are currently taking meds because residual medications in your hair will affect color. We can help you remove the impurities from your hair, so speak up so we can take care of this important step.

5. Follow instructions for your hair care.

If you are about to have your hair colored or treated, then be sure you have followed all instructions prior to your appointment.
